Given our retail background, we have successfully implemented both large and small scale lighting projects.

Easy Savings

We have been amazed how easy it is to find savings in lighting - even in some of the more progressive companies. We have found:

• Old style fittings in use in main work areas and back of house areas,
• Very little use of dimmable ballasts and very poor use of natural light,
• Incomplete or over ridden switching,
• Poor application of controls e.g. many controls in areas used 24/7 and none in little used areas - the wrong way around!

Advanced Lighting Systems Management

ECO Instruments are always looking for new techniques and new forms of lighting - but the application of current technology with a little flair still gives excellent results.

Systems such as DALI are becoming much more common and will give excellent energy savings and other benefits such as remote diagnostics and reduced maintenance costs.

Lighting projects are calculated using Relux software - not something understood by most general electrical contractors.
