Multi-site projects are always harder to estimate, but ECO Instruments can help select suitable trial sites and more carefully estimate the overall project saving and return of investment.

Project Assessment

We are offering pre-start and project completion assessments, which could be used to obtain project guarantees with your service provider (something we offer with our projects).

This service can of course be used during projects also. We have a significant number of power loggers to carry this out on multiple site simultaneously. We can also undertake other measurements such as power quality, mass flow and refrigeration or chiller efficiency.

ECO Instruments can also offer to use your existing data to carry out analysis, or alternatively offer completely new systems using up to the minute calculation methods. We have experience with a number of IT providers and metering types. Effective data collection and analysis is vital and can be inexpensive.

Data Collection

Energy data collection becomes increasingly important as more capital is expended on energy projects. It is a well known fact that many energy projects can stop working if left unmonitored - a rough rule of thumb is 30% reduction in savings year on year - so projects may never pay back! It is very difficult to design and install new projects, whilst still looking after older projects. Monitoring of projects is therefore essential.

Energy data is also an effective tool when it comes to developing shared ownership of energy and production of league tables. We have been involved with projects and have seen the power of good housekeeping. Huge savings can be achieved with small amounts of care and attention.
