Voltage Optimisation

Many sectors have embraced voltage optimisation, for the simple reason that it saves a lot of energy and works very well with most buildings. We can offer all clients the option to install voltage optimisation equipment.

We find many buildings operating at a much higher voltage than is needed. Reducing the voltage, improving phase balancing and reducing harmonics will provide many benefits to sites including:

Simple Setup

The process of ascertaining if this technology is for you is easy. A simple site survey and collection of voltage data is all that is needed.

The equipment is installed as close to the main supply point to the building as possible. The installation only takes a few hours, but will require a short power down period - which can be managed with generator back up if required.

Best of all voltage optimisation requires no ongoing maintenance and the savings you get on day one will be the savings you get in year 10 and so on.

Fixed Savings

This type of project along with many lighting projects are regarded as fixed savings projects i.e. require no ongoing support and the savings cannot be eroded by others. These should be regarded as the best type of energy projects available.

On average, voltage optimisation will deliver a 10% energy saving. We know of no other single project that can do this. Highly recommended to all.
